When your mind won’t stop spinning and your body won’t relax, therapy can help

You’re constantly thinking, planning, worrying. Even when everything looks fine on the outside, inside you feel tense, overwhelmed, and exhausted.

You’re tired of living in your head, going over every conversation, every choice, every what-if. You try to keep it all together but the pressure is intense. Sometimes you wonder if this is just how you’ll always feel: wired, overthinking, and always a little bit on edge.

It’s not just stress, it’s on the level of anxiety and it’s taking up way too much space in your life.

Your Anxiety Shows Up In All The Ways

You overanalyze everything you say or do, days, weeks, or even years after it happened.

You feel like you have to be “on” all the time, even when you're falling apart inside.

You push yourself to keep achieving, but it never feels like enough.

You constantly second-guess decisions, afraid of making the wrong move.

You have a hard time relaxing where your body stays tense and your mind won’t slow down.

You get stuck in spirals of “what if,” replaying every possible worst-case scenario.

Anxiety isn’t just in your head. It’s the physical side too. And it’s exhausting to carry alone.

What anxiety therapy looks like with me

If your anxiety is tied up in being “the strong one,” being the high achiever, being the person who keeps everything afloat, that’s something I specialize in.

I work with people who’ve been holding it together for years but are now at a breaking point. Maybe you’ve never done therapy before. Maybe you’re not even sure what’s wrong, you just know you can’t keep living like this. That’s a good place to start.

Together, we’ll make space to slow down, notice what’s happening, and learn ways to soften that anxious grip on your day-to-day life. I draw from approaches that help you find a sense of calm no matter what the circumstance.

I’ll be real with you. I’ll bring honesty, curiosity, and warmth into the room. I’m not here to analyze you from a distance, we’ll figure things out together.

How Anxiety Therapy Works

Anxiety therapy with me happens in weekly, 50-minute one-on-one sessions, online by video or phone. Therapy can help you feel more grounded, less overwhelmed, and more able to pause before anxiety hijacks your thoughts or decisions. Over time, clients often report feeling clearer, more confident, and more emotionally balanced, even when life is still stressful.

1

We start with a free 10-minute consult

Email me to schedule a short call. It’s a no-pressure chance for us to connect and see if we’re a good fit. You can ask anything and I’ll share more about what working together might look like.

2

We meet weekly, one-on-one

If it feels like a match, we’ll begin with 50-minute weekly sessions by phone or video. I work with adults in Illinois, Iowa, and Oregon. Each session is your space to show up exactly as you are, stressed, overwhelmed, overthinking and all.

3

We go at your pace

There’s no one “right” way to do therapy. We’ll explore what’s underneath your anxiety, and I’ll support you with tools and insights along the way. Some weeks you might want skills. Other times, you just need a safe space to breathe.

4

You begin to feel something shift

You may start noticing that you’re a little less reactive. A little more present. You might start questioning those anxious stories instead of believing them. Those small changes can become a new way of being.
