You’ve always carried a lot - responsibilities, expectations, emotions
From the outside, it might look like you’re holding it all together but inside, it’s another story
Maybe you're the one everyone turns to, the one who gets things done, the one who keeps going, even when you're running on empty. But lately, something's shifted. You're anxious, exhausted, and wondering if this is all just... too much.
You're not broken or “too sensitive.” You're not imagining it. And therapy isn’t some mysterious thing only certain people do. It can be a powerful tool that helps you make sense of what’s going on and feel more like you again.
The Path That Brought Me Here
From Overwhelmed to Becoming
a Therapist
In 2005, I was anxious and exhausted. Every aspect of my life was just too much. I wanted everything to be perfect, but I was running on fumes and couldn’t keep up. I didn’t know much about therapy, but I took a chance and went. I wasn’t sure what was going to happen but I knew I couldn’t keep going the way I was.
That first session changed something. I remember thinking, “Therapy is a secret they have been keeping from regular people!” I was learning brand new things about my emotions and about why I was so burnt out. These weren’t things I’d ever been taught. I was given language for what I was feeling
A new way to look at the world, and at myself
Therapy helped me understand why I was doing what I was doing and more specifically why I was overwhelmed all the time. For the first time I realized, “I can’t do everything.” That was a life changing realization because up until that point, I had been trying to do just that.
The more I went to therapy, the more I liked it. I kept showing up. I kept learning. I had a different career at the time, but eventually I knew I wanted to do this work. My first therapist made me realize how many people need this kind of support but don’t know it exists, or don’t think it’s for them.
Therapy isn’t always advertised as something that is accessible for every-day people. But it should be.
That’s why I’m here now to offer that space, especially to people who’ve been carrying too much for too long, just like I was.
find resilience and healing
The Resilience Of My Clients
Inspires Me Every Day
There’s something incredible about witnessing someone’s resilience up close. I work with clients who have been through some of the most difficult things imaginable. They have every reason to give up and collapse into a heap on the ground. Yet, they keep showing up. That is so inspiring and gives me hope.
Where I get the most fulfillment is seeing those little sparks of change: when someone gives themselves the benefit of the doubt for the first time, questions a belief that’s been weighing them down, or just takes one step toward healing. Those moments add to that reminder that healing is possible even in a messy, overwhelming world.
And I love the collaborative part of therapy, too. I'm not here to be the expert on your life. We're in this together.
Let’s check in, figure things out,
and find what works for you
I won’t use a “therapist voice” or stare at you in silence. If things get dark, we might still find opportunities to laugh. I’ll meet you where you are without making you feel judged or small.
Clients tell me I’m easy to talk to and that I can say hard things in a way that feels honest, not harsh. And still, we’ll find a rhythm.
I'm here to help you take the pressure off, unpack those distorted thoughts, and see your experiences in a new light especially if you've never had space to do that before.

Therapy can feel vulnerable, especially
if it’s your first time
But it doesn’t have to feel like a mystery. You can ask questions, take it slow, and see if it feels right for you.
